I'll
put this right out in the open – everyone is a liar. All you need
to do is tell a lie once and you're a liar. You can't take it back,do
over or reset...take some responsibility instead. It doesn't matter
if you're 100 seconds old or 100 years old when you tell the lie,
you're still a liar! However, it's understandable to lie during
certain situations, and I'm here to separate all of you liars into
three different categories – liars, damned liars and politicians.
The
average law-abiding citizen falls into the category of “liar.”
These people will usually say things like “I didn't eat the last
cookie,” or “I came home early last night,” or “I love you.”
These lies go from being relatively harmless to life ruining. I'm not
going to advocate their actions, but I'm not going to ignore it
either. There's also no real way to detect when a liar is doing the
deed. Some people will either be really bad at it, in which case
you'll know they're lying and the mystery is solved. And some people
will be really good at it, in which case you don't know so it doesn't
matter. The best thing is probably assuming everyone is lying all the
time or everyone is telling the truth all the time – what are the
consequences?
The“damned
liars” are criminals because they're either eternally damned to the
penal system and/or to Hell. You've got con-artists,thieves,
murderers and a pack of other swindlers ready to lie to you about
everything. These people are very good liars so you need to be ready
with hard evidence or you'll doubt yourself. The lies they tell are
usually “I wasn't there last night,” or “The contraband in my
pocket isn't mine,” or “Even though you found the victim's blood
and body parts in my fridge I didn't kill her.” I'm not going to
advocate their actions, but they're criminals so what do you expect?
Assume a criminal or a suspected criminal is lying to you all the
time about everything. Even for something as simple as the color of
the sky or the time of day – don't believe the damned liar!
We're
now onto the worst kind of liars...politicians! A liar makes sense
because sometimes you've got to lie or you lie so much it's second
nature – but the liar's lies don't cause the same impact as
politician's lies. A damned liar makes sense because of the criminal
nature, and while these lies are quite harmful you've got the law
going after them on a regular basis. The lies of a politician are the
most harmful because they ruin cities, states, nations and eventually
the whole world! These people are lying all the time about everything
and are quite good at it. In fact, the nature of politics is based on
lying – you're trying to convince someone your way is the best way
even if it's not. You can't do this by being honest, so you need to
lie all the time! But do not fear, there is a solution to
this...simply do not vote for any of the politicians and let the
system work itself out. I'm not sure what'll happen, bu tit's either
going to be very good or very bad.
